ERROR CODES


Temperature Sensor Error (tE)


The dishwasher displays a temperature sensor error indicating a functional error within the temperature sensing mechanism.


Cause


This error occurs when the temperature sensor fails to properly detect the internal temperature of the dishwasher during operation.


Fix


With the dishwasher empty, add detergent, and then run a cycle. If the problem continues, turn off the dishwasher's circuit breaker switch and then contact an authorized Samsung service center.



Heater Error (HE1)


The dishwasher encounters a heater error when the heating element is unable to function correctly.


Cause


This error is due to a failure in the dishwasher's heating element, preventing it from reaching the necessary temperature.


Fix


Contact an authorized Samsung service center for assistance with the heater error.



High Temperature Heating Error (HE)


This error indicates that the dishwasher's temperature has exceeded the normal operating range.


Cause


The error is triggered when the dishwasher's internal temperature goes beyond safe levels, possibly due to a thermostat or control board issue.


Fix


Turn off the dishwasher and contact an authorized Samsung service center for an inspection and repair.



Low Water Level Error (1E)


The low water level error appears when the dishwasher does not have enough water to operate properly.


Cause


This error can occur due to a restricted water supply or a malfunctioning water level sensor.


Fix


Ensure the water supply valve is fully open and check for any obstructions in the water inlet. Contact Samsung service center if the problem persists.



Half Load Function Error (PE)


The dishwasher reports a problem with the half load function, indicating an operational error.


Cause


This error arises when there is a malfunction within the half load function settings or implementation.


Fix


Reset the dishwasher and try running a full load. If the error continues, consult an authorized Samsung service center.



Reflector Function Error (7E)


The dishwasher shows a reflector function error, suggesting an obstruction or malfunction within the reflector area.


Cause


This error is caused when flatware or dishware interferes with the water reflector, preventing its proper operation.


Fix


Check for any obstructions near the water reflector and remove them. If the error persists without interference, close the water supply valve and contact a Samsung service center.



Child Lock Indicator


The Child Lock indicator turns on to indicate that the Child Lock feature is engaged.


Cause


This indicator is triggered when the Child Lock feature is activated to prevent accidental button presses.


Fix


To disable Child Lock, press and hold the relevant button combination as per your model's instructions until the indicator turns off.



Self Clean Indicator


The Self Clean indicator lights up when the Self Clean option is enabled or due for use.


Cause


This feature is activated to remind users to run a Self Clean cycle after a set number of uses.


Fix


Run a Self Clean cycle by selecting the option on your dishwasher. The indicator will turn off after the cycle is complete.



Lack of Salt Indicator


This indicator lights up when the water softener runs out of salt in models with a built-in water softener.


Cause


The indicator is triggered when the salt levels in the softener are low, affecting the dishwasher's ability to manage hard water.


Fix


Refill the water softener with the appropriate type of salt as recommended for your dishwasher model.



Rinse Refill Indicator


The Rinse Refill indicator turns on when the rinse aid compartment is empty.


Cause


This indicator is activated to inform the user that the rinse aid needs to be refilled for optimal drying performance.


Fix


Refill the rinse aid compartment with a suitable rinse aid product to ensure effective drying and spot prevention.
